It is headquartered in Singapore and incorporated in the Cayman Islands. It rents space, power and cooling in data centers to large cloud and AI companies. It was founded in 2022. As of September 20, 2026, it had <span style=\"white-space:nowrap;\">962 MW<\/span> in service and <span style=\"white-space:nowrap;\">1,328 MW<\/span> under construction. It has also secured sites in Japan: in Imari, on the island of Kyushu, and in Fuchu and Kodaira, in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: 'Newsreader', Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.65; letter-spacing: 0; color: #1a1a1a; margin: 0 0 1.5em 0;\">Revenue is growing. For the six months ended June 30, 2026 it was <span style=\"white-space:nowrap;\">$512<\/span> million, 3.4 times the same period a year earlier. The company introduces itself as a platform &ldquo;outside of the United States and China&rdquo;. The same document says that it was a subsidiary of GDS, a developer and operator of data centers in China, when it was established, and that a letter from members of the U.S. Congress alleged it to be a &ldquo;<strong style=\"font-weight: 700; color: #000;\"><span style=\"white-space:nowrap;\">China-linked<\/span> company<\/strong>&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: 'Newsreader', Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.65; letter-spacing: 0; color: #1a1a1a; margin: 0 0 1.5em 0;\">The listing also changes how the board is chosen. Of the other six, one is appointed by William Wei Huang, the chairman of GDS, and five are chosen by the board itself. Shareholders cannot remove those six. A buyer of the shares buys a stake in a growing business.
